Music and Science are presented together, thereby leading to novel insights and concepts. The lecture and concert series entitled “Music and Medicine” will, within the next three years, focus on central disease entities such as diabetes, cancer, and heart failure in the context of classical music. The latest scientific findings are presented face to face with the pathobiographies of classical music composers. First-rate scientists and internationally celebrated musicians, among them members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, enter into a fascinating dialogue with the public.
